Whitestone REIT Taps Christine Mastandrea as COO

Shopping center REIT Whitestone has announced the promotion of executive vice president of corporate strategy Christine Mastandrea to the role of COO. Mastandrea will assume the responsibilities of this role in addition to the ones she has currently.

Prior to joining Whitestone, Mastandrea worked in banking at Robert W. Baird & Co. and advised Whitestone on some of its highest priority projects, including the Company’s IPO in 2010.

Current COO John Dee has left the firm as part of the leadership transition, effective February 9, 2022. Dee served as COO since 2006. In addition, Bradford Johnson, executive vice president of acquisitions and asset management, has also left the company as part of the transition. Johnson has been at Whitestone since 2010.
