L&L Holding Company topped off construction on TSX Broadway, a $2.5-billion mixed-use project it's developing with Fortress Investment Group

L&L Tops Off $2.5B TSX Broadway Project

L&L Holding Company topped off construction at TSX Broadway, a 46-story, $2.5-billion mixed-use project being developed near Times Square with Fortress Investment Group. Launched in 2019, it will include a 669-key hotel, an indoor/outdoor performance stage, 100,000 square of retail and entertainment space and the historic Broadway Palace Theatre lifted 30 feet above street level, along with full-building LED signage.

“While the vision for this project has remained the same since its inception, the world around it has drastically changed – making TSX Broadway even more relevant for what a new development should look and feel like in our current moment,” said L&L CEO David W. Levinson.

As 2022 began, L&L began the Palace Theatre lift. The theatre is being lifted 30 feet above Times Square to unlock ground-floor retail space, utilizing a mechanism that is a hybrid between a structural steel shoring post and a hydraulic jack.
