Taurus Bulks Up Midwest Industrial Presence
Boston-based Taurus Investment Holding has acquired a Midwest industrial portfolio, consisting of 18 buildings totaling 1,557,670 square feet across the Chicago, Cincinnati, and Indianapolis regions. Terms of the acquisition weren’t disclosed; Crain’s Chicago Business reported the deal size at $145 million.
The portfolio, which is currently 94% leased to 40 national, regional and local tenants, is comprised of high-quality, institutionally owned assets across three major distribution hubs in the Midwest, each convenient to an Interstate network and highly trafficked air-cargo hubs. The properties are located within top-performing infill submarkets.
“We are excited about our entry into Cincinnati and Indianapolis,” said Lathan Allen, managing director at Taurus. “Both markets are well-located transportation hubs, among the top 20 largest industrial markets nationwide, and experiencing tremendous growth. We remain focused on monitoring the market and trends to acquire additional strategic assets for our portfolio.”
