Fulton East Achieves WELL Health-Safety Rating

Developer Parkside Realty’s Fulton East, a new-construction, 12-story, 90,000-square-foot mixed-use office, showroom and retail building in the Fulton Market District, has earned the WELL Health-Safety rating from the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). The rating is based on the WELL Building Standard and the review of more than 600 experts from the Task Force on COVID-19, a group of global experts convened by the IWBI.

The Class A building at 215 N. Peoria St. features multiple high-tech and biophilic features designed for employee health, hygiene, safety and wellness, including the world’s first-to-market installation of MAD Elevator Inc.’s Toe-To-Go hands-free elevator system and the first multi-story office building installation of airPHX non-thermal, plasma technology.

“Unlike other office projects in the planning phase, Fulton East’s developers were early adopters of biophilic design, including health and wellness enhancements throughout the building,” said Katie Scott, director of leasing for Fulton East.
