Four Cities in DFW Named on ‘America’s Best Cities to Work Remote’ List for 2022

U.S. City Data Comparison tool Dwellics has named four cities in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro on their list of America’s Top 100: Best Cities to Work Remote in 2022.

The report, which analyzed more than 50,000 cities in the United States, named the Dallas/Fort Worth suburbs of Frisco (population 177,020), Murphy (population 20,612) and Bushy Creek (population 18,399) as well as Coppell (population 41,645). The cities’ ranked numbers 7, 8, 13 and 24 respectively. Additional cities in Texas that made the top 20 of the list included Sugar Land, Lakeway, Cedar Park and Helotes.

Factors in the ranking included highest internet speeds, best climate comfort (temperature and humidity), human safety (natural disaster risks, crime, water quality, cancer rates), infrastructure (outdoor activities, distance to nearest airport, government spending, housing cost stability), and finances (property taxes, income taxes, cost of living index, and housing costs).
