Walker & Dunlop Earns Place in 2022 Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index

Bethesda, MD-based Walker & Dunlop, Inc., has been named as one of 418 companies across 45 countries and regions to join the 2022 Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index, a modified market capitalization-weighted index that aims to track the performance of public companies committed to transparency in gender-data reporting.

The reference index measures gender equality across five pillars: female leadership and talent pipeline, equal pay and gender pay parity, inclusive culture, anti-sexual harassment policies, and pro-women brand. Member companies collectively have the highest company representation in the index.

“Fostering a diverse and inclusive culture is critical to our success, as well as our ability to innovate and grow,” said Paula Pryor, Walker & Dunlop EVP and chief human resources officer. “Walker & Dunlop is committed to achieving greater gender representation and equality at all levels of our company, and we will continue to hold ourselves accountable for increased transparency on our progress.”

About Lisa McDuffie

Lisa McDuffie arrives at ConnectCRE via REALTOR® world, where she served for nearly two decades as communications director for one of the nation’s largest REALTOR® organizations. She supported two membership-elected presidents who were commercial real estate practitioners, and managed the communications initiatives of the organization’s commercial special interest group. When not following the latest commercial real estate news, Lisa is zeroed in on her charismatic off-the-track thoroughbred as she makes the transition from an utterly failed racehorse to a lovely show hunter.
