Nelson Management Adds Soundview Apartments to Portfolio

Global One Real Estate Fund, an affiliate of Nelson Management Group, has acquired Evergreen Gardens, a 357-unit multifamily complex in the Bronx’s Soundview neighborhood. The two-building complex at 950 and 955 Evergreen Ave. adds to Nelson’s growing portfolio of more than 4,000 residential units throughout New York City.

Daniel Parker of Hodges Ward Elliott represented the seller. “Evergreen Gardens is an excellent Multifamily complex in a great neighborhood, and we’re looking forward to offering residents a high level of service and increased investment into the building,” said Robert Nelson, president of Nelson Management Group.

The New York City Housing Development Corporation provided $23,630,000 for the rehabilitation and permanent financing, and The NY City Department of Housing Preservation and Development will continue to act as the supervisory agency as it preserves complex’s Mitchell Lama status under Article 2 of the New York State Private Housing Finance Law.
