Dayton Street Brings Logistics Park to Full Occupancy

Dayton Street Partners (DSP) has signed two leases totaling 29,326 square feet at its three-building logistics park located at 2217 S. Loomis St. on Chicago’s West Side. The leases bring the property to 100% leased.

Meade, Inc., signed on for 25,326 square feet while Forward Air division Central States Trucking eased approximately 4,000 square feet on three acres. Both companies cite 2217’s direct access to I55/94, the city’s high-density neighborhoods and robust logistics infrastructure as drivers for their respective site selection decisions.

“High flow-through logistics assets with low site coverage remain in high demand,” said Howard Wedren, DSP’s founder and managing principal. “We will continue to seek opportunities to acquire and develop logistics and transload properties in strategic markets across the U.S. that fit in with our overall strategy.”

CBRE’s Kevin Segerson and Philip A. DeBoer represented Forward Air. Peter Poulos with Peter J. Real Estate represented Meade.
