Avison Young Acquires Project Management Firm Dowling Houy

Avison Young has acquired the Dowling Houy firm as a planned expansion of life sciences expertise and acceleration of growth across its project management platform in the Boston area.

Dowling Houy is a women-owned business that provides owner’s project management services across the real estate life cycle. Owner Jeanne MacLellan joins Avison Young as principal and bring more than 20 years of project management experience. Amanda Randall Capobianco, Angela Ciramella and Jennifer Perrault, are also joining the Avison Young Boston.

Dowling Houy was founded in 2010 by Richard Dowling and Charles Houy. MacLellan later took ownership in 2015 and was granted Women-Owned Business status by 2018. As a full-service project management firm, it has represented top-tier corporate clients in an array of industries, including life sciences and healthcare, higher education and not-for-profit.

About Lisa McDuffie

Lisa McDuffie arrives at ConnectCRE via REALTOR® world, where she served for nearly two decades as communications director for one of the nation’s largest REALTOR® organizations. She supported two membership-elected presidents who were commercial real estate practitioners, and managed the communications initiatives of the organization’s commercial special interest group. When not following the latest commercial real estate news, Lisa is zeroed in on her charismatic off-the-track thoroughbred as she makes the transition from an utterly failed racehorse to a lovely show hunter.
