2500 Waterbury Avenue Bronx Seagis Property Group

Seagis Adds to NYC Portfolio with Bronx Warehouse Buy

Seagis Property Group has acquired a 19,100-square-foot industrial building with an adjoining 10,300-square-foot parking lot. The property is located at 2500 Waterbury Ave. at the corner of Waterbury and Seabury avenues in the Zerega neighborhood of the Bronx.

In its third New York-area acquisition over the past month, Seagis purchased the property fully occupied for an undisclosed sum.  This is Seagis’ third acquisition in the Bronx and increases its portfolio in the five boroughs to 61 buildings totaling 1.3 million square feet.

‘The high-quality building was constructed in 2008 which is unique for the boroughs,” said Stefan Sansone, director with Seagis Property Group, based in the company’s Brooklyn office. “2500 Waterbury is strategically located in the Zerega submarket of the Bronx offering quick access throughout the tri-state region.”

The 2500 Waterbury acquisition follows Seagis deals in Queens in late November and in South Hackensack, NJ earlier this month.
