Savills Arranges Brooklyn Space for JCCA

Savills represented JCCA in a 68,000-square-foot, 16-year lease at Meadow Partners’ 57 Willoughby St. in Brooklyn. JCCA, which provides care to neglected and traumatized children and families in need, will serve as the anchor tenant.

JCCA retained Savills five years ago to help it consolidate its portfolio into one location each in the Bronx and Brooklyn. Last February, Savills represented JCCA in its 35,751-square-foot lease at 423-425 Westchester Ave. in the Bronx.

“This was a multilayered and complex real estate transaction,” said Savills vice chairman Marc Shapses. “The terms, location, sensitivity to the client’s budget, and board approvals all had to come together for JCCA to relocate from its existing home in Midwood.

“In short, we needed to identify the perfect deal for the organization and, ultimately, we did,” he continued.

JCCA was represented by Shapses and Savills’ Roi Shleifer. Meadow Partners was represented by JLL’S Whitten Morris and Joseph Sipala.
