Lululemon Signs Upper East Side Lease with Nuveen

Lululemon has signed a new retail lease at Nuveen Real Estate’s The Colorado on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, located on the corner of 86th Street and Third Avenue. The new store will be located at the base of The Colorado, a 35-story residential tower, featuring 175 class-A luxury rental units.

The athletic apparel retailer will join a leading collection of stores in the neighborhood, including Whole Foods, Target, Ulta, Gap and Equinox.

Todd Rollins, managing director of the Urban Retail platform at Nuveen Real Estate, said, “This new lease in New York City demonstrates our conviction in the market and we are excited to partner with one of the world’s most coveted retailers. The new store will serve as an amenity to the neighbors at this high-profile intersection and further solidify the 86th Street corridor as the dominant retail node on the Upper East Side.”
