Goldie Gala Returning to In-Person Event Next Year

The Goldie Initiative has slated its 2022 Goldie Gala for Sept. 22 at a location to be announced. Next year’s gala, which will honor Shero Pam Boneham, will be the organization’s first in-person gala since the onset of the pandemic.

Boneham recently retired as managing director and head of capital strategies at Barings, and has had a long association with the Goldie Initiative as a supporter and mentor. She was also instrumental in establishing the Women’s Leadership Initiative at the Chicago chapter of ULI.

“I got good advice early in my career that the most important thing I could build to be successful was a strong network,” says Boneham, who serves as a board member at the University of Wisconsin’s Graaskamp Center for Real Estate. “What is really valuable for our Goldie Scholars is that they get access to a remarkable network of very successful women in real estate.”
