Skyline Amasses 82K SF of Leases at 1040 Sixth Ave.
Skyline Developers, the New York and New Jersey-based development firm owned by the Wilf family, has completed a series of leases totaling more than 82,000 square feet at the centrally located 1040 Ave. of the Americas.
Throughout the pandemic, despite tenant uncertainty, Skyline completed 13 transactions totaling 82,427 square feet. Notably, Skyline took the initiative to build three full 12,000-square-foot floors on speculation with both upscale, pre-built office suites and custom built-to-suit spaces.
“We worked closely with our existing and potential tenants to understand their space needs, concerns and develop unique solutions that support the flexibility necessary for these companies to be successful,” said Orin Wilf, founder and president of Skyline Developers.
Added William Cohen, vice chairman of Newmark, which handles leasing at the property, “All of these leases were initiated and completed during the peak of the pandemic, which created challenges that no one could have anticipated.”
