40 West 57th Street is an office property in Midtown Manhattan

Givaudan Renews Tenancy at LeFrak’s 40 W. 57th St.

CBRE completed five office leases totaling approximately 100,000 square feet at LeFrak’s 40 W. 57th St. in Midtown Manhattan’s Plaza District. In the largest of these, Swiss fragrance manufacturer Givaudan renewed its 50,000-square-foot space for 15 years. 

In other leases, A&E Real Estate executed a 10-year, 17,525 square-foot relocation from 5 Bryant Park and Lightyear Capital relocated from 9 W. 57th St. into 13,500 square feet, also for 10 years. 

Relocating and expanding within 40 W. 57th, Darsana Capital committed to 11,500 square feet. Finally, Elmwood Asset Management is expanding its offices on part of the 18th floor and has signed a 7,275-square-foot lease. 

The LeFrak team was led by Marylou Berk and included Meredith Jackness and Ray Kawas. The CBRE agency team of Howard Fiddle, Gregg Rothkin, Benjamin Joseph, Evan Fiddle and Arkady Smolyansky represent building ownership in negotiations.
