Life Time Bringing Athletic Resort, Coworking Space to River North

Life Time Group Holdings has opened a preview center for Life Time River North at One Chicago, its first athletic center in downtown Chicago. The 126,000-square-foot space at 1 W. Chicago Ave. is slated to open in early 2022.

With 10 athletic resort destinations throughout Chicagoland’s suburbs, Life Time will bring boutique studios for yoga, indoor cycling, Pilates, Barre, and cardio and strength group classes to River North. More than 400 pieces of cardio, strength and functional training equipment round out the more than 28,000 square-foot exercise floor.

In addition to the athletic resort, Life Time is set to bring its first premium coworking space to the city, its ninth coworking destination nationwide. Spanning 39,000 square feet, Life Time Work is designed around a healthy work-life, with live plants, natural light, ergonomic workstations, healthy food and beverage offerings, and an included Life Time Athletic membership.
