North Loop Green Minneapolis rendering Hines

Hines Breaks Ground in Minneapolis’ North Loop

Hines and partners AFL-CIO Building Investment Trust and Marquee Development commenced construction on North Loop Green, a new mixed-use development in Minneapolis. The groundbreaking advances the project toward a spring 2024 grand opening.

Located in Minneapolis’ live-work-play-stay-shop-dine North Loop neighborhood, the project will feature 350,000 square feet of office space, 350 residential units, 100 hospitality units, and 17,000 square feet of food and retail offerings. A key feature of North Loop Green will be “The Green,” a one-acre green space that will be programmed year-round with a wide range of artistic, cultural, and community-based events.

“North Loop Green will be an exciting and dynamic destination for businesses and residents, with advantageous synergies between residential, hospitality, office and retail,” said Bob Pfefferle, managing director at Hines.

JLL has been engaged as leasing agent for North Loop Green’s office component. Brent Robertson, managing director for JLL, will lead leasing efforts.
