Marcus Partners Adds D’Arcy Industrial Center to DC Metro Industrial Portfolio

Boston-based Marcus Partners has acquired the two-building D’Arcy Industrial Center in District Heights, MD.  At the time of acquisition, the buildings were 100% leased with near-term rollover.

The center’s two small-bay industrial facilities total 182,000 square feet and include an adjacent, fenced 1.5-acre parcel of land for outside storage.  It is adjacent to the Capital Beltway with access to major population and employment centers in DC, Northern Virginia, and Maryland.

“D’Arcy Industrial Center presents an opportunity to capture positive market momentum by institutionalizing an infill industrial product with desirable attributes,” said Andrew Dolinsky, principal at Marcus Partners. “This acquisition serves to continue our long-history of targeting value-add investments and furthers our growth in the Washington, D.C., Metropolitan area.”

CBRE’s Bo Cashman and Jonathan Beard led the acquisition process. CBRE’s David Webb, Justin Glasgow and Curtiss Telfer led the financing process. CBRE’s Michael Elardo, Jared Ross and Kevin O’Neil will lead leasing efforts going forward.
