Northern Manhattan Apartment Portfolio Fetches $190M

AIR Communities is selling an 11-building multifamily portfolio for $190 million, according to a source familiar with the transaction. HUBB NYC will be purchasing the portfolio, which consists of 361 units totaling 209,100 square feet across Manhattan’s Upper West Side and Upper East Side.

The largest properties in the portfolio include 181-199 Columbus Ave., 182-188 Columbus Ave. and 464-466 Amsterdam Ave. A Cushman & Wakefield team of Adam Spies, Adam Doneger, Doug Harmon, Josh King, Kevin Donner, Marcella Fasulo, Michael Collins, Meaghan Philbin and Monica Brendsel arranged the sale on behalf of Denver-based AIR Communities, the source said.

A spokesperson for Cushman & Wakefield declined to comment.
