Venable Consolidates Manhattan Offices to Durst’s One Five One

Law firm Venable LLP signed a 15-year lease for 157,808 square feet on the 48th through 52nd floors at the Durst Organization’s One Five One W. 42nd St. The law firm’s new tower offices also include a 3,000-square foot-wraparound terrace on the 49th floor. Venable is consolidating its New York offices from 1270 and 1290 Ave. of the Americas. 

“Adding Venable, a Global 100 law firm, to One Five One’s tenant roster exhibits the stature of companies attracted to the building and the neighborhood and is demonstrative of the underlying strength of the Midtown market,” said Jonathan (Jody) Durst, president of The Durst Organization. “  

Venable was represented by Newmark’s vice chairman, Moshe Sukenik, and senior managing director Eric Zemachson. The Durst Organization was represented in-house by EVVP Tom Bow, senior managing director Rocco Romeo and associate director Tanya Grimaldo.
