Final Beam Placed on New Life Sciences Building Near Boston
Callahan Construction Managers celebrated the topping off of its life sciences building project located at 300 3rd Avenue in Waltham, MA, in early October.
Representatives from Callahan, developer Lincoln Property Company and elected officials along with individuals who worked on design and construction gathered in early October to mark placement of the final beam.
According to a statement from Callahan, Waltham has emerged as one of Greater Boston’s most active life sciences clusters, and the 140,000-square-foot property will answer high-demand for lab space. The building offers four stories of flexible and customizable office and laboratory space; each floor will have bright lights and expansive views from all workspaces.
The building is situated approximately 10 miles from Cambridge and Boston off exit 27A on Route 128/I-95. Corporate neighbors include ThermoFisher, Sanofi, AstraZeneca, Shire, Deciphera, GSK, Alkermes, Immugen, PerkinElmer, Visterra and Exosome Dx.
