CushWake Leads Multi-Million Dollar Repositioning of Office in Bethesda
Cushman & Wakefield is leading a multi-million dollar capital improvement program to reposition a Class A, 185,000-square-foot office asset in Bethesda.
Located one block from the Bethesda Metro Station’s Red Line and the future Purple Line, 4800 Hampden Lane is in proximity to Capital Crescent Trail and neighborhood bike routes, as well as retailers along Bethesda Avenue. The property overlooks Bethesda Row and Edgemoor neighborhood and offers access to Washington, DC via Wisconsin Avenue and Massachusetts Avenue.
“This capital improvement program will transform 4800 Hampden Lane into a top-tier building full of new, rich amenities that tenants will embrace, bringing more of a community feel to the building,” said Michael Katcher of Cushman & Wakefield.
Renovations at the 12-story property will begin within the next two months and are expected to be completed by fall of 2022. Cushman & Wakefield’s Katcher and Katie Datin are the exclusive leasing brokers for the property.
