Richard Drummond Joins PRP as New Director of Opportunity Zones

Richard Drummond has joined PRP to manage land acquisitions in qualified Opportunity Zones throughout the country. Drummond is a veteran of the D.C. real estate community, serving it for more than 30 years.

“We have expanded into alternative sectors such as Opportunity Zone investing and Data Centers in Tier 1 markets in the United States,” said founder Paul C. Dougherty. “This is an exciting complement to our corporate net lease office and logistic investment programs.”

The firm’s recent investment was in a 210,000-square-foot office building in Alexandria, VA, which PRP is converting to a 212-unit luxury apartment community.

Drummond began his real estate career with Clark Construction, serving as a field engineer and product manager for the construction of several offices and hotels in the D.C. area.
