Hamilton Zanze Acquires Sixth Multifamily Community in Nashville Metro

Hamilton Zanze (HZ) announced their acquirement of The Retreat in Arden Village, a 228-unit apartment community in Columbia, TN. This is HZ’s seventh acquisition in Tennessee, and their sixth in the Nashville metro area.

The community, which was 97% occupied at the time of purchase, averages 1,080 square feet per unit, and features seven different floor plans. Located 40 miles south of Nashville, it benefits from a well-established economy, and is also home to several Fortune 500 companies and Vanderbilt University.

“The property features a contemporary vintage, robust amenity package, and prime location near great job drivers which will provide our residents with the quality of life offered in Nashville’s growing urban core,” said David Nelson, chief transactions officer.

Management of The Retreat has been transitioned to Denver-based company and HZ affiliate Mission Rock Residential.
