Landmarked 330 W. 42nd Launches Leasing After $120M Revamp
Resolution Real Estate launched leasing Monday at 330 W. 42nd St. in Midtown Manhattan, following a $120-million revamp of the historic 35-story building. Originally built in 1931 and once home to McGraw-Hill Publishing Company and Marvel Comics, the tower is being marketed by a Newmark team led by Brian Waterman and Scott Klau.
“This is really a story of taking what once was the preeminent office tower of its time and lifting it back to its original lofty stature,” said Gerard Nocera, managing partner, Resolution Real Estate Partners.
Klau added, “The reimagining of this landmark property brings to market one of the most extraordinary prospects for businesses looking for a true headquarters opportunity.”
The 700,000-square-foot building between Eighth and Ninth avenues became a National Historic Landmark in 1989 and now features three floors of amenity space, with the rest of the building sectioned into low-rise, mid-rise, and high-rise floors.
