Clark Delivers UMMC Midtown Outpatient Tower, Celebrates Grand Opening

Clark Construction Group joined Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott and other city and state leaders on September 14 to celebrate the grand opening of the 210,000-square foot Maryland Medical Center’s (UMMC) Midtown Outpatient Tower. Clark served as the general contractor for the project. The facility opens to the public later in September.

The tower features space for primary and specialty care, as well as health education programs. Designed by C.R. Goodman & Associates, the project is pursuing a LEED Silver certification, incorporating various green building methods such as stormwater management and a vegetative roof. 

“We are honored to build projects that serve this community and grateful for the opportunity to partner with UMMC and C.R. Goodman & Associates,” said Mike Hartman, a division president at Clark Construction.

Clark recently launched its Strategic Partnership Program in the city, which aims to help small and disadvantaged businesses working in construction and related fields.
