Packaging Firm Relocates Headquarters Within Twin Cities

Pelican BioThermal, a leader in thermal protection packaging solutions, has expanded and moved its headquarters to Maple Grove, MN. The company leased 117,242 square feet of distribution & production space at 10100 89th Ave. N. to move and consolidate its operations and promote production efficiency. The company previously occupied 70,000 square feet in Plymouth, MN.

CBRE’s Jared Scaringe, Ryan Foley and Mike Bowen represented Pelican BioThermal in lease negotiations.

“We are thrilled we were able to secure an off-market opportunity for Pelican BioThermal,” said Scaringe. “The BioThermal division and their parent company, Pelican Products, were heavily involved in the pandemic response last year, producing cases for ventilators and vaccine materials. It was imperative for them to have an optimal production facility.”

Shortly after expanding and relocating its headquarters, Pelican BioThermal also expanded and opened a new 54,060-square-foot warehouse-distribution facility in Valencia, CA, represented by Foley and Scaringe.
