Signode Consolidates Local Facilities at Prologis-Owned Park

In one of Central DuPage’s largest new leases this year, Colliers Chicago’s Ron Behm, SIOR, and Jonathan Kohn, represented Prologis in a full-building, 360,709-square-foot lease with Signode at 1600 Central in Roselle, IL. The global manufacturer and distributor of protective packaging systems will consolidate its local facilities following the completion of extensive improvements at the new site.

Originally developed as a build-to-suit for Sony Corporation in 1994, the high-profile headquarters building is located within Prologis Turnberry Lakes, providing convenient access to O’Hare International Airport. Signode will house its Midwest operations at the new site including production and distribution as well as its customer experience center.

“For users seeking convenient access to the U.S. supply chain network and O’Hare, and most importantly, value, DuPage is the place to be,” said Behm, who has completed five deals year-to-date in the submarket. CBRE’s Whit R. Heitman represented Signode.
