StreetLights Residential Breaks Ground on Celebration MF Community

Multifamily developer StreetLights Residential has partnered with Cortland to break ground on its newest project, Cortland Colburn in the town of Celebration, FL.

Located in Osceola County near Walt Disney World, Celebration is a master-planned residential community with single-family terrace, bungalow, garden, cottage, village, manor and estate homes along with townhomes and condominiums. The new project will consist of 300 apartment units in several floor plans ranging from 756 to 1,772 square feet. Units will feature wood-look flooring throughout the kitchen and living areas, granite countertops, built-in island storage, stainless steel appliances, motion-activated lighting in closets, and built-in Sonos speakers.

“We are thrilled to be able to partner with StreetLights Residential on this incredible community. Cortland Colburn is the perfect opportunity not only for Cortland to continue to grow our presence in Central Florida, but also for us to combine Cortland’s best-in-class community operations and resident experience with StreetLights Residential’s industry-leading development, and we can’t wait to see Cortland Colburn come to life,” said Chris Fletcher, director of development at Cortland.

LRK is the architect of record for the project while B2 Architecture & Design will oversee interior design. SLR Construction, LLC, is the general contractor.
