Distribution Firm Relocates to Industry City
Sakatta Inc., a distribution and sales company, has signed a six-year, 25,000-square-foot lease for warehouse space at Industry City in Brooklyn. The tenant has relocated its operations from the nearby Bush Terminal and will bring 15 employees to Industry City.
“Industry City has become synonymous with the quintessential creative office hub, and it’s really so much more,” said Kathe Kramer Chase, director of leasing at Industry City. “It’s a diverse neighborhood of businesses including offices, retail, pop-ups, production and good old-fashioned warehouse and distribution.”
Both Industry City and Sakatta Inc. were represented by Moshe Akiva and Rafael Neiman of TriState Commercial Realty, also a tenant at Industry City. The 16-building, six-million-square-foot complex is owned by a partnership of Belvedere Capital, Jamestown, and Angelo, Gordon & Co.
