Cordish Hires Two EVPs within Gaming Group
The Cordish Companies has made two key executive hires to Cordish Gaming Group, the gaming division of the Company. Cathy Beeding joins the team as EVP and general counsel, and Suzanne Trout has been named EVP and chief marketing officer.
Beeding and Trout join Baltimore-based Cordish Gaming Group as it experiences significant growth and continues to expand its footprint nationwide. Both are highly-regarded gaming industry veterans.
Beeding joins Howard Weinstein, who has served as general counsel for the company since 2012. Mr. Weinstein, who has announced his intent to retire in 2024, will work to ensure the smooth transition of all legal matters.
Prior to joining Cordish Gaming Group, Beeding served as VP, senior counsel and corporate compliance officer at Churchill Downs Incorporated in Louisville. Trout served as chief marketing officer at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, CT, the largest casino resort in the U.S..
