Airline Cargo Service Signs Full-Building Lease with Duke Realty
Darwin Realty/CORFAC International SVP Jeffrey J. Provenza and associate Todd Hendricks represented Alliance Ground International, LLC, in its full-building lease of 253,000 square feet at Duke Realty Corporation’s 1717 Busse Rd. in Elk Grove Village, IL. The tenant is an airline cargo handling service that’s expanding its footprint in the Chicago area.
“Right now, it’s very tough to find a space this large within such close proximity to O’Hare,” said Provenza. “Vacancy rates are low and most of the buildings available are far less functional. At less than three miles from the airport’s north cargo entrance and with heavy loading, this facility was ideal for this tenant.”
Cushman & Wakefield vice chairman Britt Casey and senior director Al Caruana represented Duke Realty. The property offers32’ clear height ceilings, 57 exterior docks, two drive-in doors, LED motion sensors and an ESFR fire protection system.
