Housing and Target in Radian Have a 2023 Target Date
Cisterra Development recently began construction of Radian in downtown San Diego’s East Village neighborhood. Radian is a 255,000-square foot 22-story retail and residential high-rise tower featuring a new Target retail store and 241 housing units. The project is expected to be complete in 2023.
“Radian will add a needed residential and retail experience to downtown San Diego,” said Jason Wood of Cisterra Development.
Located along the southeastern corner of 9th Avenue and G Street, the ground floor and basement level of Radian will feature a 36,000-square-foot Target. The exterior of the existing historic Farkas Store Fixtures building will be enhanced, preserved and incorporated into Radian’s exterior design.
Cisterra Development has selected San Diego-based Carrier Johnson + CULTURE as the building architect, Gensler for interior design and Swinerton as the general contractor. Cisterra has secured ACORE Capital for the construction loan with CBRE procurement. The Koman Group, Wermers Properties and Spruce Capital with Berkadi-Moran procurement are joint venture partners with Cisterra Development.
