Building Permits Signal Start of SilverRock Resort
Building permits have been pulled for the homes at SilverRock Resort in La Quinta, with construction set to begin this summer, according to the Robert Green Company. Ultimately, there will be 29 branded single-family homes and 55 branded condominiums serviced by two hotels.
The Robert Green Company has also announced the appointment of Bruce Maize as chief operating officer of Robert Green Residential. A 15-year La Quinta resident, Maize brings more than 35 years of homebuilding and development experience, and is responsible for all residential construction at SilverRock Resort.
“Following years of thoughtful planning, we are excited to finally execute the vision of SilverRock and get some sticks in the air,” said Maize. “Demand for real estate in the Coachella Valley has exploded in the past 12 months, and we expect that trend to continue, especially at the upper end of the market. All indications point toward a robust 2021/22 season, and those who missed out last year will return in droves – the desert lifestyle won’t miss a beat.”
