North Side Industrial/Office Campus Could Fetch $100M-Plus

The owners of the Bradley Business Center on Chicago’s North Side have put the 23-acre industrial and office campus up for sale, Crain’s Chicago Business reported

A venture that includes executives at Chicago-based Centrum Realty & Development, local developer John McLinden and Chicago real estate investors John and Rick Hansen has hired the Chicago office of Cushman & Wakefield to market the four-building campus along the North Branch of the Chicago River.

Sources familiar with the offering told Crain’s the properties could fetch more than $100 million, likely a big windfall on buildings the owners and other venture partners have leased up over the past 15 years.

It’s a rare listing of a large industrial site in an affluent, densely populated part of the city, Crain’s reported. Earlier this year, Prologis paid nearly $100 million for a 339,000-square-foot warehouse and office building at 930 W. Evergreen Ave. on Goose Island.
