Harlem Shake Expands to Park Slope Through Franchise

Harlem Shake, a casual spot for burgers, shakes and more in Harlem, is expanding through a franchise deal for a second location to open in Brooklyn. Katz & Associates director David Yablon represented Harlem Shake through RESOLUT RE’s Sherry Naquin Sanchez and Spencer Bowman.

The new 1,200-square-foot restaurant, with another 1,200 square feet in the basement, will be located at 119 5th Ave. in Park Slope. It will feature the same modern, diner-like setting as the original location, with retro Harlem photos.

“It was exciting to help Harlem Shake find an ideal location – a great corner in Park Slope –  to expand their iconic brand,” said Yablon. “Since they first opened in 2013, Harlem Shake has been an integral part of the local community and has won numerous awards. We know the Brooklyn location will also be a huge success.”
