DealPoint Merrill Snags 158K-SF Retail Center in Connecticut

Los Angeles-based investment firm DealPoint Merrill has purchased Centennial Plaza, a 158,000-square-foot retail center in Meriden, CONN. Meriden is located in the southern-central portion of Connecticut.

Located at 77 Centennial Plaza, the center was previously anchored by a Stop & Shop grocery store before it closed in November of 2020. In early 2021, the previous owners of the retail center secured approval to build a climate-controlled self-storage facility at the center. The center was built in the 1960s.

Joe French and Kodi Traver of Marcus & Millichap represented DealPoint Merrill in the transaction. The seller was undisclosed. The new ownership plans to implement a $5.2 million renovation at the 11-acre property.
