Berkadia Arranges Sale of 121-Unit Morrow MF Property

Berkadia has arranged the sale of Level at Mount Zion, a 121-unit, garden-style multifamily property in Morrow, GA. The sales price was not disclosed.

Level at Mount Zion was built in 1973 and features 121 units with fully equipped kitchens, black or stainless-steel appliances, ceiling fans and large closets. The property offers a significant value-add opportunity and was 97 occupied at the time of sale. Located at 6668 Mt Zion Blvd, the property offers connectivity to major metro employment centers within Clayton county, including Southern Regional Medical Center and the new Gillem Logistics Center development.

Paul Vetter, Andrew Mays and Matthew White of Berkadia’s Atlanta office represented the seller, North Carolina-based Cannell Capital Partners, in the transaction. The buyer was Connecticut-based Amity Cos. In addition, Cutt Ableson of Berkadia’s Houston office secured fixed rate financing through Freddie Mac on behalf of the buyer. Terms of the 10-year loan included a 30-year amortization schedule and interest-only payments.
