Grosvenor Americas Taps Steve Guberer as Senior VP in D.C.

Privately-owned international investor and developer Grosvenor Americas has tapped Steve Guberer as Senior Vice President, Capital Markets. Guberer will be based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office and will lead Grosvenor’s capital markets activities in the U.S. and Canada.

Guberer has executed more than 40 M&A advisory and capital raising transactions representing $20 billion of total capital for clients within the real estate, gaming, lodging, and leisure sectors. He joins Grosvenor from CBRE where he was responsible for originating, executing, and marketing over $1 billion of equity annually in real estate private placements across various core and niche sectors.

“Grosvenor’s strong reputation and its focus on delivering both commercial and social benefit greatly appeal to me,” said Guberer. “The role, which emphasizes building relationships for the long term and contributing needed housing supply, strongly aligns with my experience and skillset. The company has grown steadily with investment partners who have benefitted from Grosvenor’s farsighted approach and deep-rooted local market knowledge — and I look forward to building upon this stable foundation and contribute to fulfilling our future growth ambitions.”
