Boutique Greenpoint Rentals Lease Up in Less Than Four Weeks

Caspi Development said The West in Greenpoint, Brooklyn has been fully leased after less than four weeks on the market. The 22-unit boutique apartment property at 144 West St. in Greenpoint was developed with Barone Management.

Pricing for market rate residences started at $3,035 for one-bedrooms, and $4,000 for two-bedrooms. Corcoran New Development is the exclusive leasing agent. The project also includes seven units that are part of the Affordable New York program.

“The residential rental market is rebounding to pre-pandemic levels faster than anyone really anticipated, and 144 West St. has been magnificently received by the marketplace,” said David J. Maundrell III, EVP, new development at Corcoran.

Added Caspi Development principal Joshua Caspi, “As the New York City residential market continues to bounce back, Greenpoint has become particularly desirable due to its neighborhood feel, East River access, and proximity to Manhattan and Williamsburg.”
