Bayer Snags Additional 86 Acres in NJ

Bayer Healthcare has acquired 86 undeveloped acres at 67 Whippany Road in Hanover, NJ. The land is adjacent to the pharmaceutical giant’s East Coast headquarters. Vision Real Estate Partners and Rubenstein Partners, which owns 67 Whippany Road, were the sellers.

The pharmaceutical company originally acquired 94 acres at what was once the Alcatel-Lucent Campus in 2012. Vision Real Estate and Rubenstein Partners developed the 675,000-square-foot Bayer headquarters following the land sale. Cushman & Wakefield’s Robert Donnelly Sr., Rob Donnelly and Marc Rosenberg served as landlord brokers in that initial trade, as well as the latest transaction.
