Vesper Adds 792-Bed Vie at Hattiesburg to Portfolio
Vesper Holdings struck a deal with Vie Management of Miami, FL to acquire Vie at Hattiesburg. The New York City buyer renamed the property at 8 Eagles Trails to The Chelsea. The complex houses students attending the University of Southern Mississippi’s Hattiesburg campus, and marks Vesper Holdings’ first buy in the state.
The previous owner, which changed its name from The Woodlark Co. in 2016, completed a $2 million renovation that included upgrades to the flooring, appliances, furniture, clubhouse and fitness center. Vesper is planning to invest an additional $600,000 to continue improving amenities, enhancing the property’s exteriors and upgrading technology throughout the complex.
The complex offers two and four-bedroom units. On-site features include a resort-style pool, 55-inch outdoor television and poolside lounge, sand volleyball court and private study rooms.
