Most Visited Cities by Americans
It’s the holidays and traveling is nearly synonymous with the season, which means it’s a good time to see where Americans visited the most this past year.
Expedia released its year-end results of travel trends, showcasing the domestic and international destinations that Americans traveled to the most in 2017.
Here’s how the cities ranked:
Most-Booked Destinations (Domestic):
- New York
- Los Angeles
- Orlando
- Las Vegas
- Chicago
Most-Booked Destinations (International):
- Cancun
- London
- Mexico City
- Paris*
- Guadalajara*
*New to the list in 2017
As for car rentals, Los Angeles hit No. 1 on the list for travelers renting, with Orlando, Denver, Las Vegas and Atlanta trailing behind.
