Connecting With: Cox Castle’s David Wensley
Law firm Cox, Castle & Nicholson is helping tenant structure their leases more and more around the Orange County area to allow for creative-office features, says David Wensley, a partner at the company.
What started the movement was when tech companies from the Bay Area and Seattle started opening offices in the area and requested features such as areas for bikes, athletic facilities and electric-vehicle charging stations. The creative-office trend is not likely to wane any time soon, Wensley stresses. Companies like these kinds of environments, he says, because they easily promote collaboration between employees.
