Alabama Buyer Nabs TX MOBs for $111M
Sanders Trust LLC, headquartered in Birmingham, AL, acquired three Texas medical facilities for $111.5 million. Medical Properties Trust, also based in Birmingham, sold the properties in Austin, Dallas and Conroe, TX.
The three buildings together total 191,800 square feet. HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital at Roundrock (Austin) offers 75 licensed beds, while HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Richardson (Dallas) has 50 beds. HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital Vision Park in Conroe (north of Houston) has 60 beds.
Sanders Trust bought the properties in a joint venture with Chicago-based capital partner Harrison Street Real Estate Capital LLC. JLL Healthcare Capital Markets Group represented the seller.
