1025 Thomas Jefferson Sells to UK Investor for $142M
Alduwaliya Asset Management of the United Kingdom struck a deal with the JBG Companies for ownership of the 317,248-square-foot 1025 Thomas Jefferson Street in the Georgetown submarket of Washington D.C. Alduwaliya, which represented a high net-worth family in Qatar, paid $141.8 million for the office building. Jim Meisel, Dek Potts, Andrew Weir, Stephen Conley and Matt Nicholson with HFF represented the seller.
1025 Thomas Jefferson Street fronts K Street between 30th and Thomas Jefferson Streets and sits directly across from the Georgetown Waterfront Park and Washington Harbour. Anchored by data analytics firm Palantir Technologies, the building is 96% leased to tenants including the American Institutes for Research, Carlton Fields, Education Development Center and Combined Properties. The property was built in 1984.
