Women in Real Estate 2020: Greystar’s Rochelle Green Runs an Outperforming Portfolio

Greystar’s Rochelle Green serves as a Director in Phoenix, where she runs the property management operations for Greystar’s fund of owned assets in the Arizona market. Her portfolio has outperformed all of her peers’ portfolios in markets such as San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles, San Diego and the Inland Empire.

Despite operating in a market where rents pale in comparison to those of other Western markets, Green and her team have worked hard during the COVID-19 pandemic, operated their real estate as though a pandemic never existed. Because of this, Greystar’s acquisitions team and its portfolio management team have focused heavily on placing more capital in Green’s market for her and her team to operate.

These are just a few of the reasons we chose Green as one of the 2020 Women in Real Estate Award winners in Phoenix. Connect Media’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.

Green earned the CPM designation and is a trailblazer in the Arizona market. She has become a well-respected leader amongst her peers, Greystar’s executive leadership and equally important, her team.
