Women in Real Estate 2020: McDermott Ventures’ Pamela McDermott Leaves Her Mark on Boston’s Skyline

Pamela McDermott has built herself an unparalleled legacy over the last 30-plus years, utilizing her renowned grit and grace to ensure that her client’s needs are met, and her projects are seen through. She has managed 20 million square feet of development in Greater Boston, successfully launched a thriving real estate consulting firm and has received several honors in government relations, community relations, and media throughout her career.

McDermott has been a tireless force in the industry, having a hand in some of the Boston area’s most prominent projects that now mark the city’s skyline, bringing a unique perspective to each one. She has the knowledge needed to bring both the communities and developers together to create unity in order to build a better city. Her experience has made her the go-to woman in Boston’s real estate community

These are just some of the reasons we chose McDermott as one of the 2020 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect Media’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.

Her tireless entrepreneurial spirit has led to her foster that same initiative within others, uplifting them through advisement and mentorship. She has also strategized for prominent CEO’s. McDermott’s consistency, determination, and grace in the face of pressure has been a driving force in transforming Boston into a world-class city.
