Women in Real Estate 2020: Wonderful Real Estate Development’s Erin Poulson Morris Drives Awareness

Erin MorrisErin Poulson Morris serves as a Director for Wonderful Real Estate Development in Los Angeles. She has emerged as an integral member of the real estate team, and key contributor to the group’s success.

She has helped the company grow from a “little-known shop” into a well-respected institutional player within the industrial real estate industry. She has driven awareness of Wonderful’s development activities, imparted space leasing opportunities across the company’s industrial portfolio and educated tenants about the value of a Central Valley industrial location. Those activities have been extended through the creation of signature Wonderful Real Estate events at properties that are coveted invites by brokers and prospective tenants.

Not only has that allowed the company to be positioned well in front of key decision-makers, but those efforts have also resulted in tenants such as Walmart and Essendant finding space at a Wonderful property, as well as existing companies, such as Ross, expanding their footprint within the portfolio. She has helped define and articulate the value proposition of Wonderful Industrial Park and its location in Bakersfield. That includes showcasing the advantages of the area’s labor pool that has close ties to Wonderful’s parent company. That relationship was credited for persuading a Fortune 500 tenant to sign a one-million-square-foot lease at the industrial park in the midst of the Covid pandemic.

These are just a few of the reasons we chose Poulson Morris as one of the 2020 Women in Real Estate Award winners in California. Connect Media’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.
