Top Broker Honorees: CBRE’s Darcy Stacom and William Shanahan
The New York region’s leading investment sales team for several years running, CBRE chairmen Darcy Stacom and William Shanahan completed $4.6 billion in investment sales in 2019 in some of the city’s most notable transactions. Stacom, who also heads New York capital markets for the firm, represented Google in the expansion of its Chelsea footprint through the $600-million acquisition of the former Milk Building at 450 W. 15th St.
The pair also represented the seller in the $150-million disposition of the Chrysler Building, one of the most iconic towers in the Manhattan skyline, and RFR Holdings in the $345-million sale of 345 Park Ave. South to Deerfield Management, which plans to convert the Midtown South building into the area’s first life sciences hub.
